Today I finished the red scarf for the Red Scarf Project. As usual, blocking magic occurred and I was properly astonished at the transformation. I’m thinking of writing up the pattern for the scarf, but I have a lot of other knitting to get done before I can get to that. Plus the stitch pattern was blatantly stolen from another, so I’m not sure how cool it would be of me to do that. Not to mention the fact that I’m not sure what I’d call it.
I once again succumbed to post-project depression. I have the Braided Cable Socks on the needles, but I’m still feeling a little lost and adrift now that the scarf is drying. I’m contemplating casting on for another scarf, but I’m not sure which scarf to start and all the waffling and hedging is driving me mildly insane. This is just what I do when I can’t decide on something. I’m sure it has something to do with my being a Libra and all that. It will definitely be an illusion scarf. I’m just not sure which illusion scarf it will be.

These are the best pictures I could take at the that I blocked the scarf due to the time of day and the nature of the lighting in the room that I was in. Hopefully I can take better picture of the stitch pattern once it’s dry.
