The Pomatomus is finally finished! I was able to finish them in the car yesterday while going to see the doctor and running some errands. I can’t begin to know where to gush about how much I enjoyed knitting these socks. This pattern was a ton of fun to knit up.
I’m not sure if anyone can tell, but I used more ribbing instead of seed stitch. Probably the designer could tell. I’m really happy with it, but I think I want to do a sock with the seed stitch just to see how it looks. The reason I did the ribbing was more of a fluke then a planned departure.
I truly forgot how much I enjoy knitting socks. There’s something magical about turning a heel and grafting the toes together. Non-knitters really seem to agree too. I got a lot of ooh’s and aah’s at the doctor’s office when I showed them my socks. Even my doctor was impressed and from what I can tell, it takes a lot to impress someone who went through medical school.
