I started another shawl yesterday. The Eternal Fichu by Jackie E-S. I’m using Ice Blue Jaggerspun Zephyr with size 4.0mm needles.
I originally got to 36 rows and the end of the first repeat of the Chart 2, but I decided knitting at 4am when I was half asleep was perfectly reasonable. Needless to say I had to frog all that I did before that and start over.
In parts of this pattern you cast on 3 sts at the beginning of 2 different rows and that’s been a bit tricky for me. When there isn’t much to hold on to the little piece of knitted fabric tends to want to go all over the place. Well, everywhere but where my needle is! All in all, I’m really enjoying this pattern.
