This is the Diamond Fantasy Shawlette finally finished but unblocked. I used over 500 yards of Zephyr so I think it’s a little too big to be called a scarf. Notice what a lumpy mess it is pre-blocking? Yucky! Ew!And here’s a bit of detail on how the design looks so smooshed up and sad before I block it.

And here it is being blocked to death to the point of pain and no return! Death to the smooshiness!

At last, the shawlette’s design is looking crisp and clear.

Some fun…

I’ve been finding some great places to visit and one of them is an article on McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey) from Grey’s Anatomy.

Also, some fun gifts for that person who’s bipolar in your life. If you’re on meds for a mental illness a great place to look for information is crazymeds.org: The Good, The Bad and The Humorous.

Do you call tank tops “wifebeaters”? Please don’t!

As for knitting, I found Knit The Classics and this month they’ll be doing Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I’d love to do the Paisley Lace Shawl for that book but I’m not sure I can get the pattern in time. I’d want to do it within the month of May. We’ll see!

My Diamond Fantasy Shawl is still drying. Pictures will be up when it is!
