Look what I got in the mail the other week! Judy from The Knitter sent me my order of the Flirty Ruffles and the Paisley Long Shawl. I’ve decided to start off with the Flirty Ruffles since I’m much more comfortable with the construction of this type of shawl.
So I’ll start the new shawl as soon as I can get copies made which should be tomorrow, but I’m so impatient I’m tempted to start the Shetland Garden Faroese instead. I need to be strong and hold on for one day.
I do have a shawl that I’ve been knitting, but it’s incredibly boring. It’s the Shaped Triangle from a Gathering Of Lace and the first 108 rows is a 6 stitch repeat. After the first 20 rows my mind started going a little numb, which is okay when you have a mind numbing fever, but I’m getting a little restless.
My wrist has been loads better though, so I do feel ready to start knitting more adventurous projects.

Oh………..you lucky girl. Those patterns were beautiful. I’m waiting every day now for my mailman, I’m waiting for some patterns from Heirloom knitting.
Good luck with your knitting.

I am so glad your wrist is doing better! I saw something on TV about foods that help ease inflamation but I can’t remember what they were. I did a search but the information was very contradictory. You might have better luck looking it up.
I love your taste in shawls! I have been eyeing the paisley shawl. Aso love the one you had on your blog a couple of posts earlier by Sharon Winsauer. I love the one that looks Celtic.
Keep posting your progress, I would love to see it!

Wow Opal! Here we go on the same track again. No Flirty Ruffles, but the Paisley Long Shawl is in my stack. I have a steel geay Zephyr for it. Do you have a color picked?
