I realize that this isn’t the best of pictures, but I’m not sure I’ll ever be a really good photographer. I’m hoping to get some better pictures at some time, but who knows when the muse will show up. Yeah, that’s the ticket. The photography muse lost my address!
I was a little sad to have finished this stole as I had such fun knitting it. The directions and charts were so concise. I knew where I was in the pattern every step of the way. I want to do Leda’s Dream next, and this time I think I’ll do a black stole. First I need to get the black yarn. I’ll most likely step out on a dangerous tree limb and use Zephyr. Isn’t it pathetic at how much I use this yarn?
My next post will be about how the Pacific Northwest Shawl is knitting up with the beautiful Waterfall handpainted Zephyr from Furry Yarns. I will say that I’ve been completely neglecting the Icarus. C’est la vie, non?

That is just beautiful! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to knit anything like that!

Oh that is lovely. NOrmally I tend to eschew greys, but that has a lovely, soft dove-like look rather seeming hard, cold and industrial.
I’ve read so many wonderful things about Zephyr, I’m just going to have to give it a try one of these days!

It came out beautifully! I’m glad you enjoyed the pattern. I love Zephyr, the colors, the shine, the feel, the price, what’s not to love? There’s nothing wrong with being addicted to it - no really!

Hey Opals - hope you are OK. This shawl is lovely, very nice indeed. I ought to have a go at one or two but with so much happening in my life at the moment… it’s all just too chaotic!!!!!!
Talk to you soon…
