So far it’s been a busy week, but not too busy for for pumpkins.
Pattern: Amigurumi Pumpkin
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft (yes.. acrylic.)
Hook: Size E/3.5mm
Started: October 26, 2008
Finished: October 26, 2008
These were super fun and super fast to make. They’re only about an inch high and an inch wide. They’re the perfect instant gratification project for this time of year. They’ve been sent off to decorate my mother’s office.
These are going to have to be an indicator that fall is here, because here in Hawaii the signs of fall are subtle. Although we have had more rain and it has gotten slightly cooler, there’s not that much of a change in weather. Acornbud pretty much covers all the signs of the season change. Otherwise, you sure can’t tell when you first look out the window that autumn is here.
Happy Wednesday everyone! Friday couldn’t come any sooner.

I don’t crochet…
But they’re adorable.
Now. As far as “fall” falling in your neck of the woods? You’re in PARADISE, hon….does it matter? *wink*
((((hugs))))

Those are soooo stinkin’ sweek! I really need to learn how to crochet. Rock on with the Acrylic – I think they look great, and you know what? For something that isn’t on display all year, I would use acrylic too!

Ooh! Those pumpkins are so cute. Almost the inspiration to get me crocheting again :)
October 29th, 2008 at 10:30 am
Those are so cute! Do you crochet tight to keep the stuffing from popping out? I love amigarumi but tend to get sore hands faster than knitting or crocheting other things.

Those are SO CUTE! I love them! (And I’m not even a crochet person… )

So cute!
The yarn gives them a nice little glow and it’s not like anyone is going to wear them or anything.
Should I send you a box of dead leaves? That’s my big sign of fall.
xo

Those pumpkins are the rat’s behind! And I have a couple of perfect colors left over from the Indian Corn stole! Heheh…
Your mountains are just beautiful. I’ve always felt that if I had to choose between mountains and ocean, I’d just stand in the middle and spin, being unable to choose either one over the other.
But you get to have both! I’m envious :)
