Pressie.
It all happened very suddenly. First we noticed she was having a hard time breathing. along with some very disturbing behaviors, and the next we rushed her to a vet clinic that was open on a Sunday. Unfortunately it’s 45 minutes away. Luckily we got there in a half hour.
They worked on her for what seemed forever, but was really only maybe 45 minutes. They even performed CPR on her. In retrospect I should have told them not to go to any extreme measures, but like I said, it happened very suddenly. In the end, she never did regain consciousness.
The vet said she though that it was probably a stroke or something associated with her heart. I’m just hoping she didn’t suffer for very long. I really tried my best to get her to help as fast as I could and that is providing me with very little solace at the moment.
Words can’t express how much she meant to me.

It sounds like Pressie threw a pulmonary embolus and even if you were standing in the vet’s office when it happened, it’s very very difficult to treat (in people too!) so don’t beat yourself up!
You gave her a good life and couldn’t have loved her more, that is very clear even virtually!
