Love.

Posted under Hawai'i & shawls & socks

I love.. car and errand knitting. Yesterday I was able to finished the first Canival Tweed sock.

I was also able to make some progress on the second sock. All while running errands and hitting the multiple doctor appointments I had.

I love.. mojitos. I ordered one while at my favorite Italian restaurant this past Saturday. I’m not sure it matched the food, but it was delicious.

I love… lasagna. Especially the one at the restaurant Bravo. Too bad I’m rarely in that neck of the woods.

I love.. Cookie. She’s inspired me to start knitting my Springtime Shawl again. I may only get a row or two done a day, but that’s better then nothing at all. I only have to finish the current repeat to get to the edging.

I love.. all the new charms I got in this week. I’ll probably be drowning in stitch markers this week, as will the shop.

I love… rainbows. I haven’t seen too many of them this year due to the lack of rain clouds we’ve been experiencing. So I was lucky to capture this one on the drive home on Saturday.

Can you believe I didn’t mention spinning? That’s because my Suzie Pro has been squeaking lately. The squeak really disrupted any thoughts of peaceful spinning time this weekend. I bought some bike oil for it yesterday and it seems to have banished the squeak. So far so good at least. I remain skeptical, yet I harbor a secret hope.

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope your day/night is squeak free!

Awwwwwwwwwwww… I love my Opal.. and her sock.

I’m so glad you’re working in that lace again. I still want to figure out how to do that. Maybe one day, my brain will work well enough to figure out how to turn a square into a triangle.

Beautiful rainbow! It’s been ages since I’ve seen one, especially a complete one like that.

There is SO much in this post to love —- the socks, AWESOME. Such a pretty color too.

The lasagna — Yummy looking — can’t vouch for the mojito. I’ve never had one.

The Hello Kitty stitch markers in the sidebar —- well, what can I say? Who doesn’t love Hello Kitty!

I am so glad to hear that your Suzie is quieter and that you are back to your regularly scheduled spinning. The lasagna looks sooo yummy as do your new delightful markers. Will you be making medium sized markers or do your larger ones work for size 6 & size 7 needles, too?

Love the sock and the colors of the yarn you are using! Sorry to hear about Suzie squeeking, hope the oil will fix it.

Any chance of you doing earrings? I need some pearls that dangle. Don’t ask.

What a beatuiful sock! The colors are perfect for it. I love your mermaid stitch markers as well. A few rows of lace is indeed better than none. Great pictures!

I love your post! Swirling socks and rainbows and mermaids with mojitos. You can’t go wrong.

Sadly my Tuesday was filled with furious thunderstorms and tornadoes, then a 24 hour power outage. I hid in my closet with a pillow over my head as the sirens warbled, warning us to take cover.

I can only hope there was a rainbow after all that.

Oh to eat at Bravo!!! OMG - I lived about 10 minutes away. What I wouldn’t give for some of their garlic knits. ARGH.

That’s it - Mini-Me and I are moving back. Can you make room for two?

    Will spin/knit/bead for food!

I agree…the best part of going to doctor’s appointments is the knitting that gets done. I really don’t mind waiting as long as I have my knitting :)

    Your socks are lovely :)
