Home again.

I finally made it home on Tuesday night. The flight home took over 10 exhausting hours and I’m still recovering.

The cats have reacquainted themselves with me after being surprised by my return. It seems Pressie really missed me and managed to lose some weight and luster while I was gone. She seems to be bouncing back now that I’m home, but I’m keeping a close eye on her.

I did manage to get some knitting done during the long flight and I’ll be back with that and more next week. Until then I hope you’ll enjoy this picture I took of an iris outside of the Red Lobster back in Altoona.

Happy Friday everyone! Enjoy your weekend!

Welcome home. The iris picture is beautiful. We used to have those in our side yard when we lived in Pennsylvania. For some reason my mom called them “flags”.

I’m sure being home is full of mixed feelings for you; it always was for me. Still, generally I’m glad to get there – eventually.

!0 hours in the air? Ouch :( I’ll bet when you finally stood up at the end of the flight, your fanny smiled!

I know how Pressie feels. Since you have been gone, I have lost some weight and luster as well. Ok, maybe not the weight.

The blue in that iris is sooooo beautiful. Makes me wish I had a garden. (And that I didn’t kill all plants by looking at them.)
