With all the frenzied spinning that I’ve been getting done, I thought I’d treat myself to some new roving to play with. I think I went a little overboard.
First up is more roving from the Yarn Wench in Mahogany Peacock. Oh how I love the Yarn Wench.

Next up are some sparklies from Copperpot Woolies in Suger Plum Fairies*. You can’t see it but there are lovely sparkly angelina fibers in it. You would think the glitter would be harsh, but they’re very soft.

Continuing on with my sparkly fixation, we have some batts from Enchanted Knolls in the gorgeous color Lady of the Lake. I heard such good things about this vendor on Ravelry, I just had to check her shop out. Once I was there it was all over. Oh Ravely, how I hate thee.

Finally, I was able to grab some elusive alpaca roving from Pigeonroof Studios in the color Poison.

I haven’t spun alpaca yet and I’m really excited! I want to throw it on the wheel right this second. Except for one problem. I’ve been spinning like a dervish and I have managed to get all this done.

I still have all this to do.

Maybe what I need to do is to take a break from it. Yeah. That’s what I need. Just a tiny mini-break from the thrums. Stop laughing!
*My pictures just don’t do these pretty fibers justice. If you click on the links you can see them in all their glory on Etsy.

It was you, who swiftly purchased the Mahogany Peacock. You are truly a fierce competitor over the Yarn Wench. God, I love her fibers. Congrats. I can’t wait to see the results!

Oh how I love purple. I want to come over there and rub my face in all of it! Actually, I would love to come over there for any reason :)

It’s all so gorgeous! I love it all, seems like you have a thing for um…purple? Lol. Can’t wait to see it all spun up!

What beautiful fibers!!! I agree with you that a break might be in order so you can give the alpaca a whorl as it is soooo pretty. I can tire of the same fiber when I spin it for a while and a break always makes me feel more inspired.

I’m still going on our spin a little every day goal! I think you are cranking out WAY more yarn than I am though. I guess I am slow. :(
Lovely stuff. What projects are you planning to knit with all the gorgeous yarn you will have?

Those fibres are gorgeous! You will have some really beautiful yarn when you are done. By all means, take a break – a little one – if you can stand to do so. Looking forward to seeing your finished stuff! Delicious colours, by the way!

Oh my (fanning self) – just *look* at all those lovely, cool colors. The blues, the blue-greens, the violets! I want you to know that even though I don’t spin and probably never will, I went and looked at every shop you linked to – just for the color fix, probably :)
Your yarn is lovely too! Shall we call you Spinderella? Heh…

Very pretty! They look very oceanic too. (Possibly because I’m seeing everything through a prism of I Wish I Was On A Beach On Vacation. ;)
