It was another outrageous night at Aloha Knitters. I had told blogless Michelle that I was cheering for the Green Bay Packers all the way once the Dallas Cowboys got eliminated from the playoffs. To test the waters of my allegiance she asked me if I’d be willing to wear the cheesehead hat. I told her not only would I wear it, I’d be willing to document it.
True to her word, she brought the cheesehead hat to the next meeting which was last night. True to my word, I wore it and had it documented.
I decided if i was going to wear a ridiculous hat and have it paraded on the Internet then I was going to do it in style. So I give you “Opal in the Cheesehead Hat“.

Michelle also donned the Cheesehead Hat to show her fightin’ Pack spirit!

Those weren’t the only antics of the night. Michelle has been working on a scarf hoodie in some gorgeous colors. She graciously modeled it for us. :)

Just imagine how that scarf will warm you up in the frigid north!
Veronica and blogfree Ariana were comparing sock heels. I’m not so sure that there was much technical discussion involved as there were giggles.

Good times. Good times.
Here’s wishing you good times this weekend! I promise to come back with some actual knitting content soon. :-)

I always wanted a cheesehead hat despite not being even remotely close to a Packers (or football) fan!
You look very cute in yours Opal!
January 26th, 2008 at 2:55 am
You are too cute in your cheese hat! I will think of you as I watch the Super Bowl and I hope your team wins. What a wild & crazy group of knitters, it looks like everyone is having so much fun. Great Jaywalkers, I tried that pattern and gave up.
January 26th, 2008 at 4:09 am
You sure do have fun :) Now, curse it all, I’m wondering about how one would go about knitting a Cheesehead hat! I’ll probably never do it, but it’s fun to think about :)

LMAO! I miss going, Drew was asking me when we were going to go to knitting. He said “I really like that group of ladies.” I’ve just been freakin’ lazy and haven’t been knitting anything. Glad you guys are having a great time!

How incredible that one of those cheese head hats has made it all the way to Hawaii.
January 27th, 2008 at 3:20 pm
It does look like a good time. So exactly how many people stare at your group? Our group at Borders must have about 30 or 40 people looking at us like we are from the loony bin. Not that they are far from the truth….
January 28th, 2008 at 2:27 am
Oh no! You’ve succumbed to the ways of the cheese. ;-) You’re so lucky to have a great group. What fun!
January 28th, 2008 at 4:51 am
Great cheese hat! Packers fans have no shame… :-) Of course looking at that photo my eyes went straight to the Honolulu Chocolate Factory. What a great location for knitters to be close to.
