The sweetest reward for doing what I do on this blog is making someone smile. Now that Karen B. awarded me by saying “You Make My Day” I feel that I’ve done just that.

According to the rules I must name 10 people whose blogs bring me happiness and inspiration. This was tough to do as I read a number of blogs and they all bring me a little something each day. After heavy deliberation here is who I chose in no particular order.
Alice of missalicefaye for her inspirational lace work. She continues to inspire in everything she does despite the time crunch she faces what with combining graduate school and knitting glorious shawls.
Cookie of Shut Up & Knit for being able to continually crack me up and spur me on despite her predilection for pink.
Jane of lacefreak for constantly inspiring me with her beautiful lace shawls, as well as her stash acquisitions. She’s an enabler folks, so beware. ;)
Barb aka Acornbud for her gorgeous photos of Hawai’i, the land I love, as well as her beautiful beadwork and (of course) her lovely knitting. I’m privileged to be able to know her in “real life” and she’s not only a constant source of inspiration, but a well of unending support.
Fleegle’s blog also for her lovely lacework, as well as her humorous tales.
Robbyn of The Yarnpath for the beautiful designs she does with her own hand dyed yarns.
Lisa of A Little Bit of Knit for her original designs and the fact that she has just about the cutest dog on the ‘net. Brodie always puts a smile on my face.
Jeanne of Jeanne Knits, she’s always inspiring me to try different patterns and different yarn.
Chris of Drop Stitch Knitter for she always manages to enable me one way or another, thus inspiring me to try something new.
Nova of novamade for not only are her pies delicious to look at, so is her knitting.
Those are the ten I came up with, but I wanted to give an honorable mention to my friend Shell as she’s a very important inspiration in my life. She’s constantly spurring me on to knit different things and to keep going when I falter with not only my knitting but in my life.
I would also like to mention Anne of Knitspot, Roseann of Possesed to Knit, Hattie of Stitch Therapy, and Patrick aka textillian. There are more, but they’re all on my blogroll in my sidebar of the main page.
All of these people inspire me in some way each day. Isn’t that what community is all about?
