What a beautiful scene in your photo! Sounds like you both had a wonderful time together and all your pretty knitting as a fibery bonus. I am amazed at your Opal yarn, all those colors! It looks especially nice in that rib, I am in awe. I, too, like to knit when I am the passenger. Bright minds think alike!

I love the pictures you post! My sister knit me socks in Opal and it's a really nice yarn with great colors. Your socks look really good to me. Nice to have someone willing to drive so you can have more time to knit :-)

Opal, that's a gorgeous shot from the Pali Lookout! Wow. Yet more reasons to save my pennies. The new sock also looks pretty cool. Is that the Pali Golf Course down there,or is it one of the Windward side memorial parks? I DO love the Windward Side.

My DH is very good about me taking my knitting along everywhere and isn't even embarrassed when he comes home from work early to find me in the front yard with the spinning wheel. (We live in the "burbs", so this might be embarrassing to some people to have the neighbors see my hobby.) He's such a keeper.

Pretty Hawaii picture (I'm going to get there someday) and pretty sock.
