HAHA, SUCKER!!! ^_^ isn't it so much fun watching the ripples go by? i felt the same way about this project about the familial connection - my mom didn't teach me how to crochet, but i feel like i'm keeping the tradition going strong. in non-70s colors, that is. (brown, maroon and ORANGE was a very popular combo with her... yikes!)

I just picked up a copy of the new Interweave Press Crochet magazine and then I see such pretty crocheting on your blog! I understand how and why you became obsessed with these ripples, I thought I was the only one to toss & turn and think of my knitted teacups. I look forward to seeing more!

Between the Ripple Along (& there truly IS no end in sight, ya know?) & Margene & Birdsong's doing Interweave Crochet's Larger than Life Bag....well, the crochet bug has bitten me, too!

Since I can't crochet without pain, I'm just doing the bag - I bought the 200 Ripple Stitches book & will knit a blanket eventually. Right now, I'm rippling along on the Chevron Scarf from Last Minute Knitted Gifts.

But those ripples are contagious....
(((hugs)))

When I saw your comment on my blog, I knew it wouldn't be long. I made so many swatches last weekend. I can't wait until my yarn gets here!

I have a ripple afghan started somewhere in my crochet stash. Maybe someday I'll finish it... Like the colors you're using.
