It feels like it’s been ages since I’ve posted, mostly it’s because I’ve been feeling a little under the weather lately. It’s also because I haven’t really been able to put together two coherent thoughts together.
I haven’t stopped knitting and I’ve been working on the Spring Things Shawl. I’m on the last chart and although I’m eager to finish it I’m having a hard time concentrating on any one thing.

Quincy is settling in really well. There have been zero fights as he’s really respectful of my girls and their need for space. He’s delightfully affectionate and playful. I’m just head over heels with this guy. I mean, who could resist a face like this?

Oh, Quincy is soooooo adorable. I wouldn’t be able to resist him, either. So glad he is fitting in well. There is a place for you in Heaven, you know. And the shawl is gorgeous, of course.

I hope you feel better soon! Quincy looks so sweet as he sleeps and I’m glad to hear there are no “turf battles”. Your Spring Things Shawl is coming along nicely, very pretty!

Dear Opal,
Just kick back and enjoy Quincy for awhile. The knitting will still be there when you feel better. The shawl is looking great!

Good to see you posting again, Opal! I was wondering if you might not be under the weather. The shawl is looking good, and Quincy is just too wonderful for words.

Quincy is just adorable and how wonderful to hear that he’s settling in peaceably. You’re right - that little face is quite special.

What a sweetie Quincy appears to be in that photo! (aren’t all sleeping babies sweet?)
Love the knitting eye candy, too!
