Oh no… really? OMG… I’m so sorry…. I thought she was getting better…. :( Are they sure it had nothing to do with all that poisoned/tainted pet food/treats? Well, she is in a beautiful, restful place now… I’m glad I got to meet her. Big hugs to you Opal!!!

Oh no, Opal. I’m so sorry. No one understands the intense grief at the loss of a beloved pet better than someone who has experienced it. You have my deepest condolences on Cookie’s passing. I had no idea she was that close to leaving you. Know that I send my hugs and love to you all. She was so beautiful. Hold tight to those memories. Hang on to all the hugs and love you are receiving right now from everyone.

I am late finding out about the Bosco situation, and now this?
I am absolutely SEETHING about Bosco’s owners STEALING him from you. How dare they. It is people like them who make this world a lousy, crummy place. I’m not a believer but if there is a hell, I hope the most rotten corner of it is reserved for those people.
I’m sure they won’t leave again any time soon, but maybe it would be worth trying to find out if there is some sort of procedure to follow if it does happen again. That poor sweet kitty deserves a much better home.
Sigh…sending you many hugs and condolences, Opal. RIP Cookie.

There is nothing I can say to make you feel better. It’s so hard to lose someon we love. And after all that has happened already with Bosco and Cookie going to the vet…
What happened? I am guessing it was something to do with the bladder infection?

They know love when they see it, and you are such a loving person…one can tell. And how wonderful to know so many friends are holding you and your babies in their hearts. Dammit, I’m crying again! Opal, my heart breaks for you. I just got around to blogging today, so hadn’t expected this at all. Last I read, Cookie was doing better. I’m so sorry to learn of her passing. Reading the outpouring of love and support here in the comments, I think you know that you are among folks who totally understand the hold our furry children hold on our hearts. Losing a special friend is hard – try to hold on to the good times you had together.
