Mess Of Ends

I’m still chugging away on the Danica Scarf, but the more progress I make, the more ends I have to deal with. It feels like I spend more time sewing in ends then I do knitting. Still, I persevere and I’ve got over 30 inches done so far. Not bad for someone who is catching a cold.

Speaking of which, the cold probably explains the brevity of this post.

yikes! that’s a lot of ends to weave in! probably why i never tried knitting different colors…i nearly didn’t finish knucks because of the ends i had to weave in for the fingers and in-betweens. hope you’re feeling better and that your cold doesn’t last to long….have a nice weekend!

I hate weaving ends in, yet I persist in doing silly things that require a lot of it:) I hope you feel better. Lots of green tea and zinc lozenges. Take care of yourself:)

BTW, the Jayne hat is great. Very obnoxious!

I found that when I was so sick the past few weeks (upper respiratory infection combined with a sinus infection = a whole lot of mucus and inability to breathe or look down) and then an ear infection on top of that, weaving in the ends of Salina and doing the seaming was really meditative. I am a relatively impatient person, and can see getting easily frustrated and/or bored, but I didn’t! So, perhaps your cold came at just the right time. (Positive thinking.)

I am going to send you an email re:opera too. :)
