My brain has been eaten by zombies. I could name names on who to blame, but you know who you are.
So today is a day of random this and thats, with a lot of incoherent mutterings and no elegant segues.
Over the weekend I went to the Punaho Carnival where they had a lot of good food, like malasadas and fried noodles. There were hordes of people. I was so overwhelmed I failed to take more then one picture. Of course it’s food.
I met up with my friend Chiye on Monday for her second knitting lesson. She surprised me with an FO! We had started with a washcloth and within two weeks she had it finished!
Didn’t she do a good job?
She’s going to do a hat next and I think she won’t have any problems with it. She’s just that quick of a learner.
Finally, Cookie sent me some beads awhile back and I thought she was searching for a pendant to go with them so I could then make a necklace. It turns out that I had a total brain fart and what she really wanted was a pair of earrings.
What Cookie wants, Cookie gets. See them here.
Now how about a little peek-a-boo with Quincy?
Happy Wednesday, folks!

Those noodles are making me hungry.
I think it’s fair to say that she’s totally addicted so things are good. :)
Also, I know that look. It’s the “why are you bothering me? it had better be good.” that I got all the time from my sweet, little brat of a cat.

Quincy is as cute as ever!! I finally moved to Google Reader from Bloglines, so I am no longer missing your posts. Everything looks good, Opal. Hope you are well. Hugs!

Yummy!
She is doing so well! And you’re just fine. I am looking at pendants because I want a necklace, too. :p

That is seriously awesome. My first knitting project never did get finished and was All Wrong anyway. ;) She’s doing great!
Those fried noodles look delicious, and they’re such a pretty color.
