My Chanel is not fond of the vet, either. She will be 16 yrs old next month and our Golden Retriever, Candice is 14 1/2 years old. Hopefully by tomorrow, all will be forgiven. I take my nearly-14-year-old pup in twice a year, too. I've had her since a year old (my mother had her for the first year). She sleeps a bit more than she used to, but there are still times when she wants to play like a puppy. And she's always up to mooching food. One of my cats is 16, and I feel the same way about her. We had a scare with her this year - she couldn't walk and meowed when we touched her. Took her to the vet - nothing wrong. I think she was faking - she was walking around on his table, jumping everywhere. Stupid cat. Very cute cats! One of my cats is 16, and I feel the same way about her.
