For those who celebrated it, I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. I spent my day watching football, eating turkey, and making jewelry. I also antiqued some of it, like the ring from the previous post.
I’m really happy I followed the advice you all gave because I love the ring even more now that it’s been oxidized. :)
I can’t wait for my wire order to get here so I can make more of this style of ring.
In the meantime, I’ve got to make 49 jump rings for a Bicycle Chain Bracelet.
Oh. Joy.
Plfft.
At least I can enjoy the company of a comatose Sammy.
He didn’t eat any turkey, but maybe the fumes have stupefied him?
Happy Friday, everyone! :)

The ring looks VERY nice oxidized. I didn’t really have an opinion before you did it, but now I can see, it’s much prettier now and it was pretty nice before! Good job.
Sammy is probably DREAMING of turkey.

It’s elegant! I don’t think it’s prettier than before, but equally lovely.

The ring came out very nicely. I hope the jump rings don’t take too long to make.
Better keep an eye on him. He’s probably just laying in wait to raid the fridge. :)

The ring came out nice. I really like it. I used to oxidize my stained glass pieces. It seemed to add another dimension to them. Sammy looks comfy. What a sweet kitty!

Your ring looks even prettier with the antiquing, I’m amazed at how much it adds to your jewelry. Sammy looks quite content, he’s such a darling!
