Freeform Blossom Leaf Ring

I went to another Wire Play Day at The Bead Gallery on Saturday. The studio normally runs for four hours, but poor Jamie was sick so she could only teach for a couple hours. Instead of having  us all work on individual projects like we normally do, we all made a ring. (She didn’t give a name for the project so the name is my own.)

I used blue topaz for the petals and cubic zirconia for the center of the flower.

The extra coiling in the back was added to make the ring smaller. I like the look of it even if you can’t see it when the ring is on.

This ring took me about two hours of hard work to make and it was worth it in my opinion. I really love it!

Thanks so much, Jamie!

Also, I’m almost finished with something else. I’m just going to leave it at that and be all mysterious, because I’m not sure when I’ll be able to blog about it.
