So here I am upholding my end of the deal.
It’s a good thing I finished something over the weekend, eh?
That little thing is called the Diamond Mine Bracelet and I used 6 different shades of blue crystals along with size 15 Charlottes and size 11 seed beads.
I think I started it in June.
What? I was busy flitting around from hobby to hobby!
Seriously. It’s not that I didn’t have fun making this bracelet, I just had so many other things going on that this wasn’t a priority.
Want a closer look?
I’m so happy this is done because this bracelet is in my favorite shade of blue. It’s going to match quite a few outfits in my closet and that makes me happy as a fish in the sea.
I’m already planning another bracelet in purples, because next to blue what could be better then purple?
I even thought of dyeing the boys purple and blue. They’re reaction made me decide against it. As you can see, they’re still not happy with me.
For those of you who have a long weekend, I hope you’re enjoying it! For those of you who don’t? I’m sorry!
P.S. I would never dye my boys. That was meant as a joke.

You’ve seen that Cat Art table book, yes?
PRETTY bracelet. If ever I get a job, I’ll be ordering one of those with my SECOND paycheck. (The first being intended for the necklace to match the amber earrings.)

Oh my gosh … that is QUITE a look from the kitties. I think you’d better step away from the dye.
The bracelet is beautiful! You did an awesome job AND it’s nice to see you back in blogland.

The bracelet is gorgeous! I’m not even that into jewelry, and I love that one!
Love that look from the kitties. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t want to be dyed.

That bracelet is so gorgeous.
The boys want us to think that they fail to see the humor in your joke, but they are secretly very amused.

That. Is. GORGEOUS! I’m sittin’ here w/my mouth open as I gaze at the gorgeousness that is that bracelet. Boy do I understand the ‘flitting’ about different hobbies. :) Wish you could teach me too. Haven’t done any jewelry ’cause I don’t like my tools. :( Glad I can live vicariously through your blog. :)

I really like the bracelet and I’m curious about how you fitted the silver beads along with the blue. Have fun making another one.
I get that look from my cat all the time. Well, except when I mention dinner.

What a gorgeous bracelet! Can’t wait to see it in purple. Al likes to look at all your kitty pics. I will be sure he gets to see this one.

Gosh, I stares and stares in wonder. How is that done? Bet its a secret!
September 9th, 2009 at 11:00 am
Of course you would never dye your cats! But they do look rather displeased. Did you just wake them up? Have you heard the saying, “Let sleeping cats lie”? Mine hate to have naptime interrupted! Love your bracelet!

Beautiful bracelet…look very intricate!
September 16th, 2009 at 3:28 am
Nice! Are the beads loose in there, or twined? I love it, and I’m sure purple will be even better!! :)
