I'm so glad that you and your loved ones were all safe and had no serious damage from the earthquake.
We have actually been having a series of very small earthquakes in Bar Harbor, Maine, which is very unusual!

I'm glad to hear you fared well in the quake, and had a lovely shawl to knit on while you waited for power. My thoughts were with you...I love the looks of your Hidcote - what yarn are you using?
(((hugs)))

hi opal! it was quite a shaky sunday, but like you having my family safe and sound was most reassuring and comforting - being power-less allowed me to catch up on some reading and think about re-stocking on batteries, canned goods, and getting a new lantern....

I'm really glad you're OK after that earthquake. Having been born in San Francisco I know what it's like. Still, you must have great fortitude because you're knitting on Hidcote and making good progress. Take care!
