Gentleman’s Socks

I’ve been taking a long hiatus from knitting and spinning to rest my hands. I’ve also been taking a break from typing as that seems to bother my hands more then knitting and spinning put together. I did manage to finish one Gentleman’s Sock last week and I’m slowly making progress on the second as well as getting the Flirty Ruffles done.
I picked up Rosamunde Pilcher again. My all time favorite book of hers is Shell Seekers, but Coming Home is a close second. Her books are like old friends to me and I love to return to them every now and again whenever I’m in need of comfort. If you haven’t come across her before, I really do suggest you try her.

    I LOVE Shell Seekers! Oh…now I want to go check that out and read it again…Love your sock, but it doesn’t sound like you’re resting as much as you should if you’re on sock two and doing Flirty Ruffles, too! Please take care of yourself!

    love your gentlemen sock! and i know what you mean about certain books being like old friends; they do bring some comfort and good memories….hope your hands get the rest they need….

    No second sock syndrome for you, your sock is so pretty! I like how the colors don’t obscure the pattern and vice versa, beautiful work.

    OK, I have to say that the Cranberry Spray yarn is *beautiful*. Is it hard to learn to spin like you do? Because that will be my next obsession, mark my words.

    Also, Gentleman’s Socks is looking great - boy do you knit fast!

    Oh the gentlemen’s socks are handsome in the extreme! And thanks for the Pilcher reccomendation - I have never read her and look forward to giving her a try :)
