I've had it before and also have a "thing" about injections into my mouth. I tried to ask my dentist if I really had to have it. Belive me, it is really necessary. Get some really non-brainer sox to do while you are on pain meds or just plain rest. Maybe a little vacation will help your wrists. I’m so sorry you have to have root-cannal work done. Good Luck with the root canal! OUCH!! Keep it to easy simple knitting or take a break..painkillers have a way of sneaking up on you sometimes.
