That sock pattern is great! I have made it with both Trekking and handspun, and both are lovely pairs of socks. They look better on the foot than off.

I recently knit that pattern and found that I liked the look of the rib a lot better when it was stretched out on my foot. Give it a few more rounds and try it on before you lose hope!

(Ooo, and thanks for reminding me! I love(d) that paper bag idea! Maybe just the thing for Summer of Socks!)

Gee, I should have kept reading, eh? I’m glad the vet trip went as well as it did.

You won’t hear me fuss at you on the psc thing. I am woefully behind. I think your current pair will be lovely, and you will eventually be glad you stuck with them.
