The Pomatomus is finally finished! I was able to finish them in the car yesterday while going to see the doctor and running some errands. I can’t begin to know where to gush about how much I enjoyed knitting these socks. This pattern was a ton of fun to knit up.

I’m not sure if anyone can tell, but I used more ribbing instead of seed stitch. Probably the designer could tell. I’m really happy with it, but I think I want to do a sock with the seed stitch just to see how it looks. The reason I did the ribbing was more of a fluke then a planned departure.
I truly forgot how much I enjoy knitting socks. There’s something magical about turning a heel and grafting the toes together. Non-knitters really seem to agree too. I got a lot of ooh’s and aah’s at the doctor’s office when I showed them my socks. Even my doctor was impressed and from what I can tell, it takes a lot to impress someone who went through medical school.

Next up, Hedera!

Pomatomus. Pomotomi? Either way, I love ‘em! Thanks also for the warm blogland welcome and nice comments about my socks. I do love socks! But haven’t tried the aforementioned – yet.
Just one question – does it ever really get cold enough on Hawaii to wear wool? :)

Beautiful! I love the yarn/pattern combination. I really want to knit this pattern, and now I want to even more!

Beautiful socks; beautiful colorway! I do like making socks, but it goes in phases with me. Right now, it’s not socks.

This is a pattern that I have wanted to tackle. It always looks wonderful and you have just confirmed it’s position on my todo list!

I meant to compliment you on these earlier, they are stunning (which is sort of an understatement but I can’t think of a better word at the moment)

I’ve already grabbed the pattern! Now for the yarn… Really great work, Opal.
