I’m still working on my Montana Moon socks. I ripped out the offending waffle rib and opted for a plain vanilla k2p2 rib. They’d probably be over and done with if not for the fact that I started something else.
Megan and I decided to knit Caricia together. Only I jumped the gun and started it about a week before she did. Some friend I am. Although to be fair, I did put it aside for a few days after i started to let her catch up.
Don’t you love how it looks like ass? Here’s a bit of detail that doesn’t look too much like ass.
Just in case you’re wondering the yarn is from Dizzy Blonde Studios in the colorway Olivia. Nice stuff.
I probably would have been able to have gone all Cookie on Megan and smoked her to the finish line, only I’ve also been spindling. Now, I’m still chugging away on the Butterfly Girl batt.
Except another spindle is calling my name.
Wendy made me this spindle awhile back. Sadly, it’s still a virgin spindle, meaning it’s never been used. Never. So really, it needs fiber on it. Don’t you think?
I mean that’s the wonderful thing about spindles. You can have several different projects going on at once. Or should I say that’s the awful thing about spindles?
Hrm.
Speaking of spindles, have you heard of Tilt-A-Whorl? Ed has some serious spindle mojo going on. Check him out. I’ve got a serious lust on for the Flutterbies.
Robbyn complained mentioned how much she missed the kitty pr0n. So here’s a shot of Scheyer and Sammy bird-watching just for her. I can’t get over how big Sammy’s ass is. (He’s on the left.)
Happy Thursday! Thanks for reading. :)

Ya know, I was reading that and thinking how you should smoke Megan. *L*
The knitting looks good. If lace looked great unblocked, it would look like ass once it was blocked and no one wants that.
Love the spindle! You really should send it to me. I can break it in. ;^)
Love the kitties, too!

What a pretty yarn color.
Love the kitty pr0n too.

Pretty spindle. Are you a spindle only spinner? I’m a wheel only spinner but I see spindles like that and it makes me reconsider!

Such adorable kitties!! And I cannot wait to see the shawl progress. It’s lovely, as usual.

Oooh, another pretty spindle. Nekkid no longer, I trust. :-)

Smoke her… smoke her…come on… you can do it!

Cool colorway for that shawl!

LOL – oh you’re too funny:) But I certainly do apreciate he picture of the boys’ butts. Jade can look like she’s got the ass that ate Cleveland but, really, she’s not fat at all. It just depends on how she arranges her hindquarters.
Caricia is looking interesting. I hope it’s a fun knit for you, but looking at it, I imagine it’s one you could do with your eyes closed :)

What a great shot of the boys!!! I love it.
((((hugs)))

The kitties look so comfy relaxing in the sunlight. Sammy’s ass does sort of look unproportionate to the rest of his body… HA! What’s up with that???
That’s going to be a beautiful shawl! You are so fast with the knitting of shawls, I think. Also, I have a feeling Megan is toast….. :D

That’s going to be so pretty! :o)

Your shawl is coming along nicely…I bet you would have had it done long ago if you weren’t so distracted ;)
April 17th, 2009 at 8:30 pm
I like that spindle…and the kitties. :)

Very nice shawl – love the color! Great spindles – thanks for the link to the site. I have one spindle that I can’t use because I just drop it on the floor repeatedly – wheel is so much easier!
Love the kitty pic – they are too cute!

Beautiful spindle! I think I’m going to have to break down and invest in a quality spindle if I’m ever going to get any spinning done. My home made ones just don’t move me.
I love that shawl pattern! I have it bookmarked.

That is a beautiful spindle! I’m just getting my wheel spinning down…I can’t go back to spindles until I get better. really. I can’t.
Lovely shawl. Somebody has to finish first……

That is a lovely bit of lace you have going.
Those Flutterbies are just too cute.

You know what the surgeon general says about smoking….
April 25th, 2009 at 5:54 pm
Oh, you evil wench!! I’ve been so good about not wanting any new spindles, but those flowery tilt-a-whirl thingies are so different! This is not good.

Love the picture of the cats.

You rock the shawls! Or I should say that you rock everything you touch with your creative fingers.
Thanks for the kitty panther pr0n, too!
